The owners here really didn’t get the memo that nicer sit down restaurants in Toronto need to scam their patrons with laughable portions and exorbitant prices. Seriously underrated spot with great food, amazing value, and amazing atmosphere.

Perfect spot for a date night, with excellent service and solid food. Focaccia is fantastic, the arancini was solid, porchetta is quite rich (expected) but so well prepared. You definitely need some wine to cut that richness, or just share with a larger group. I especially loved the cavatelli, you can't go wrong with some sausage, rapini and fresh pasta. Tiramisu was also a perfect end to the meal, and they serve some good espresso to pair with it. I want to shout out GP in particular for being such a pleasant host. Thank you for the great wine suggestion, the conversations you had with myself and my fiancee. This spot can be trusted to have a great meal with friendly service in a fantastic pocket of the city.

A hidden gem in the heart of the city! The cocktails are nothing short of exceptional – creative, perfectly balanced, and a true showcase of Andrea’s talent behind the bar. You can tell he puts real passion and skill into every drink, making each one a unique experience. The focaccia is absolutely divine – light, fluffy, and packed with fresh, flavorful ingredients. A perfect example of how simple things done right can be unforgettable. The atmosphere strikes a great balance between cozy and refined, and the service is warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. If you’re looking for quality, character, and a place that truly delivers on both food and drinks – this is it.

We enjoyed a great evening at Lardo a few days ago. Chef Liam's food was delicious, and the front-of-house staff were friendly and attentive. We loved the new decor and atmosphere as well. Looking forward to next time!

This was a great experience. Me and my boyfriend just had an amazing dinner at this restaurant. Food was amazing and service was one of the best in Toronto. Huge thank you to the servers that took care of us tonight

We stopped by Lardo for a drink, and it was very pleasant. Nicolas, our server is knowledgeable and friendly. He knows his wine list and suggested the finest Rose for us. We had a cheese plate complimentary, which was very generous, T.y. Lardo used to be a deli, and this past May 2024, it transformed into a restaurant. We had a tour and loved the layout. We will be back to try a meal on the menu. Everything looks fantastic.

This Italian restaurant is an absolute gem! The food is so delicious and authentic - you can really taste the high quality ingredients they use in every dish. Their wine selection is superb and the entire staff is very friendly and knowledgeable so you know you’ll be taken care of. The atmosphere and vibe is very intimate making it a great spot for a close gathering of friends or for a date night spot. I’ll definitely be coming back here again and would recommend others to check it out! 11/10!

Best Italian food in Toronto! My family has had such a memorable meals at Lardo. We tried it for the first time last November and go back regularly! Fantastic service, and great atmosphere. Perfect for groups as they have a big table that fits 14 at the back. I recommend it highly. The best tiramisu I’ve ever ever had. Also try the focaccia and buffalo mozzarella , I can’t stop thinking about it!
